To mark the 40th anniversary of the opening of Dolce Vita (on 12 April 1985), the association ‘30, rue du Docteur César Roux’ (which published the reference book ‘Dolce Vita a music club’ in 2015) and Docks are joining forces to present an anniversary evening on 11 April 2025, almost 40 years to the day.
AFTER PARTY with Mandrax and Alan Braxe: admission 15.- after the concerts, subject to availability; entry will be possible when/if there is enough space.

Stephan Eicher, one of the club’s most loyal members, has played there many times, the first time in November 1985, giving concerts and taking up ‘residencies’ to rehearse albums and tours. He recalls in a magnificent text (in ‘Dolce Vita a music club’) ‘this place where everything was different…softer and warmer’. Stephan Eicher has carte blanche to take us back to his 80s, his Dolce Vita years, his first albums and whatever else comes to mind. He will then be joined on stage by Osomo (a solo project by Simon Baumann, also Stephan Eicher’s drummer). / 📸 © J.-Ph. Daulte
Stephan Kohler, aka Mandrax: producer, musician and DJ, recently awarded a prize by the Fondation Vaudoise pour la Culture for his musical career, he has designed and hosted numerous club nights in Lausanne. Here, he’ll be on the decks for the second half of the evening, and will be welcoming guests whose names will be revealed in early 2025.
