La Femme is one of those indescribable groups, so many styles would suit it. But it doesn’t matter, because beyond the musical genre, what we’re really looking for is sensations (a nod to Sur la planche). Fortunately, with this band, they’re never far away: from vintage to futuristic, from danceable to maudlin, the tracks seem ready for anything. A must-see, then, almost ten years after their last show here, to celebrate the new album released on October 11.
Mustang are one of those out-of-the-box bands: with their 50s guitar sounds, half-joke, half-realistic lyrics and pop-rock drenched in French chanson, the trio aren’t afraid to think outside the box. In fact, it’s this originality that has given them their charm over the years – five albums since 2009 – and that we’re looking forward to seeing live on stage.
